About Us
Dr. Robin Steely talks about what “Oral Fitness For Life” means to him.
My approach to dentistry is holistically inclined healing. Adopting this approach gives you the freedom to make choices consistent with where you are on your life journey. By focusing on the future, you can have the control that you have always wanted.
The holistically inclined approach involves an intimate interconnectedness of all the parts. Each part is explained in its particular relationship to the whole. Structural thinking takes this interconnected relationship and asks why things happen and how can we eliminate the cause.
Traditionally, dentistry is about fixing a tooth. We were taught in dental school to be “tooth mechanics”. But mechanics are reserved for fixing your car, not your health.
When dentistry is approached in this unique fashion, your ability to chew, to smile and to communicate is enhanced and your life is transformed into something that is special to just you!
Your story is one of a kind. Each person has a unique blending of their wellness and their well being – their family, their community, their lives – that are like no one else’s. Your wellness is distinct because you are. Your choice for wellness will truly only fit you.
As you choose the quality of the life that you wish to live, I will walk with you to help you discover and design your individual path to wellness, restoration and wellbeing that you desire. It will be your path, your story.
Choose to write your own story, not be a character in someone else’s.
Health is not just the absence of disease.
It means having a wellness quality of life.
To live a life in this way, we must take 100% responsibility for ourselves, what we eat or don’t eat, drink or don’t drink, and our emotions. We must exercise our power to control our lives and not give up that responsibility to others – our family, our friends, insurance companies, and the like.
Individualized Care
Health is not just the absence of disease. It means having a wellness orientation to our lives. To live a life in this way, we must take 100% responsibility for ourselves, what we eat or don’t eat, drink or don’t drink, exercise or don’t exercise, our emotional side. We must exercise our power to control our lives and not give up that responsibility to others – not our family, our friends, an insurance company, or any others that seek to control us.
