It is a place where you can get specific dental products to make mouth care easy, simple, and less time consuming. All of the products that we offer, we use on a daily basis.
Sonicare toothbrushes literally do the work for you, sonically cleaning every nook and cranny in your mouth. The timers help you know when to change areas of the mouth and they are probably one of the best “electric” toothbrushes on the market. If I had my wish, everyone would use one because we see healthier gums, bone and decreased bleeding and inflammation.
Spry products are interesting because they are made with Xylitol. Xylitol is a sugar alcohol that is a sweetener, but does not lower the pH of the mouth to the acidic range. It is in the acidic range that decay is caused. Xylitol also is antibacterial – it helps to eliminate harmful bacteria in the mouth. So, go ahead, have that Spry Xylitol breath mint before your next social encounter!
Supplementation has been a part of my morning routine for as long as I can remember. The lypospheric products from LivOn Labs have been available for the past couple of years. The lypospheric process allows Vitamin B and C to be guided directly into the cells rather than “bathe” the cells as most supplements do. This pushes the concentration of the supplement up as it supports the work of the cells. My morning routine is a packet of each with some water. If I get a cold or the typical Michigan sniffles, I up the number of Vitamin C packets that I take daily and can knock it out in 24 hours.
Vitamin C is a great antioxidant and immune support system. According to the Mayo Clinic letter, researchers are studying ways that Vitamin C might support cancer therapies by boosting the effectiveness of chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Softpiks and pH balanced oral rinses like Closys are also available. Only when you clean the teeth 360 degrees around the gum tissue can you decrease the number of harmful bacteria in your mouth. And we know that these bacteria are linked to and causative of atherosclerosis, heart disease, stroke and diabetes.
