Dr. Steely has been practicing health-centered dentistry for over 27 years. He is one of 300 dentists worldwide who is certified in Bioesthetic Dentistry. He has trained with the nation's leading experts in the fields of Esthetic Rejuvenation, Facial Pain and Reconstruction, TMJ and bite related issues. His areas of expertise include utilizing the latest advances in dental technology, esthetics, and comprehensive rehabilitation.
Dr. Steely received Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 1982. He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky Orofacial Pain Center, Dr. Steely is a recipient of the 1982 Gold Foil Operators Award for Excellence in Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Steely's post graduate training includes:
- Restorative dentistry, Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, Key Biscayne, Florida
- One year residency in Facial Pain at the University of Kentucky
- Advanced Esthetic Rehabilitation with PAC-LIVE at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco
- Advanced training in Endodontics (root canals) and Oral Conscious Sedation
- Studied with Dr. Charles Wold, Director (retired) of Orognathic Bioesthetic Institute.
Dr. Steely is also a graduate and Mentor to colleagues of the Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Schuster Center is a business school for dentists where development of the dental practice aligns with the development of self. It is a lifelong network of like-minded professionals in community and spirit. He is a mentor at the center and participates in numerous coaching and personal development opportunities.
Dr. Steely and his wife Adell of 31 years share a passion for kayaking and boating together and enjoy a variety of outdoor activities to the fullest. Dr. Steely also enjoys cycling, running, snowboarding, and working on construction projects which fulfills a passion for building something that becomes useful and beneficial to others.
Dr. Steely and wife Adell are especially proud of their three adult children, Tori (age 23) and twin sons, Morgan and Logan (ages 21). Tori is currently working on her Masters degree in Biology and will enroll in medical school in a couple of years. Morgan is a Business/Pre-Dental student and plans to attend dental school. Logan, also a Business major, is taking the year off to play drums in a band called, I AM BAND, currently performing their first East Coast tour.
